Portfolio: All the works and productions of an artist, it's a personal file in which a person's prior learning and experience are defined and demonstrated with a view to recognition by an educational institution or an employer.

Objectives

Allow you to identify your skills, motivations and professional aspirations in order to help you a define personal and realistic career plan on the interface of these three spheres.

The notion of portfolio is often associated with art: the artist brings together all of their creations to highlight them. It is also a very useful tool for planning your career by analyzing your skills and experience.

The portfolio is an essential element to support a PhD candidate since French Decree of May 25th, 2016 setting the national training framework and the procedures leading to the issuance of the national doctorate diploma : "A doctoral candidate portfolio is carried including individualized list of all the work activities of the candidate during the training, including teaching, dissemination of scientific culture or technology transfer, and valuing the skills they have developed throughout their doctoral program. "

We draw on our broad experience in supporting the careers of PhDs and promoting their talents in every sectors of activity since 2008, as well as on our numerous studies on the skills and careers of PhDs to offer you a portfolio that goes beyond administrative formalities and a simple description of your degree. Indeed, we invite you and support you in a thorough reflective analysis of your experience in order to get the best out of it when you are preparing for important steps, such as individual monitoring committees and discussions with your supervisor, or choosing your additional training and discussing it with your trainers and career coaches. It is a tool that will follow you well beyond your defense in order to enhance your doctoral experience and help boost your career.

It will also allow you to analyze your doctorate in line with the RNCP (French national professional certification register) where the doctorate (level 8) is registered by the Decree of 22 February 2019 in the national directory of professional certification in 22 files in the form of 6 common activity blocks.
